Bahá'u'lláh, The Hidden Words, (1858), Bahá'í Publishing Trust · Read original
When in Bahá'í history
This is the ninth of the Arabic Hidden Words:
O SON OF BEING! My love is My stronghold; he that entereth therein is safe and secure, and he that turneth away shall surely stray and perish.
The Hidden Word that follows it reads:
O SON OF UTTERANCE! Thou art My stronghold; enter therein that thou mayest abide in safety. My love is in thee, know it, that thou mayest find Me near unto thee.
From The Hidden Words of Bahá'u'lláh (Arabic, nos. 9 and 10), translated by Shoghi Effendi.
