Where the money goes
- Hosting (Render): ~$20 / month
- Audio storage (Cloudflare R2): ~$1 / month
- Audio generation (OpenAI TTS-HD): ~$0.06 per story added
- Email service (Resend): free tier
- Domain renewal: ~$15 / year
Total: roughly $25 / month plus an one-time $300 launch cost for audio. Modest by any measure. Even a single $5 donation helps.
