In Budapest, though a blizzard was raging, a good many people came to ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’s hotel that evening of April 13th and stayed till late, listening to His address. Indeed the weather was proving very inclement and snowfalls were frequent.

The next morning ‘Abdu’l-Bahá was preparing to leave for Vienna, when the president of the Turanian Society was announced. He requested ‘Abdu’l-Bahá to delay His departure because they had planned another meeting for Him, and had widely advertised it. ‘Abdu’l-Bahá acceded to this request. He then returned the call of the Ottoman Consul-General, and visited Arminius Vambery, who was overjoyed. In the evening He addressed the meeting organized by the Turanian Society, at the hall of the Old Building of Parliament, then a museum. The gathering was large and truly appreciative.
