What are the Bahá'í Feasts?

The Bahá'í Feasts, or Nineteen-Day Feasts, are gatherings held at the start of each of the 19 months of the Bahá'í calendar — so once every 19 days. Each Feast has three parts: a devotional portion of prayers and readings from the Bahá'í Writings, an administrative portion for community consultation, and a social portion of fellowship.

What happens during the devotional part of a Nineteen-Day Feast?

The Bahá'í (Badíʻ) calendar has 19 months of 19 days each, plus four or five Intercalary Days, totaling 365 or 366 days. The year begins at Naw-Rúz, the spring equinox, around March 21.
